About me

“I keep going where others quit, cut to the chase, I am fierce, creative, I have insight into character and am very empathic because I have been through a lot.”

That is how others describe me and it is also how I see myself. This applies both to when I am coaching and to my personal life, because authenticity is of great importance to me.

I am 34 years old and live in The Hague. Before I focused my energy on coaching, I studied visual arts at the Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam and got a martial arts diploma. During my study at the Rietveld Academy, I already felt enthusiastic and motivated to learn about psychological concepts and authenticity. I underwent social experiments with my performance art, because I felt that if I wanted to investigate authenticity, I could only do so by truly empathizing with the matter.

Multiple traumatic experiences in my younger years caused me to develop recurring obstructive patterns. These patterns caused a lot of pain during 15 years, but also helped to develop mastership in regard to self-examination and strategies to cope with any form of resistance.

When a few years ago I was finally able to enjoy life, I decided that I wanted to share my knowledge and help others. I followed the NOBCO-certified study ‘Professional Coaching and Leadership’ at Coachcenter in The Hague. In addition, for a year I worked as a coach at an organization that focuses on self-sustainability of women with a migration background. During this time, I also started working independently as a coach. My target audience is very diverse: I help entrepreneurs, managers and people that suffer from burn-out, all while keeping authenticity and leadership as common key values in mind.
